Idea 1: Inspired by Kenro Izu Blue Still Life

Mainly nudes, investigation into the human body and movements within it.
All skin photos, experiment with lighting and shadows.
Series - taken all within the same time (all photos look similar)

Idea 2: Abstract Portraiture

Portraits without faces, but perhaps environmental portraiture.
Sampled from many different moments (taken over several days)
Strangers in moments - okay if faces are seen.










Book Idea

Minimalist.
White book with one photo per page.
Maybe a word or quote written by it - almost as a title.

Oral Presentation Choice

My photographer of choice is Kenro Izu. He was born in 1949 is Osaka, Japan and started working in New York in 1970. He is primarily a still life photographer who has travelled the world for his work. What interests me is the versatility in his work. He photographs landscapes, portraits and still life that all have their own unique qualities. I find all of his work especially beautiful and his style resonates with me.
